A Ride On The River, 2019 | 14-channel videoinstallation, 29:20 min (loop), with sound

On a 130m² exhibition floor, fourteen video projectors create the image of a flowing river. Beneath its surface, various objects emerge—glimpses of symbols, human bodies, empty boats, and drifting oars. The interplay between wet and dry, deep and shallow, draws viewers into an abyssal depth while still allowing them to sense the concrete floor beneath the light shed by the projectors. This is a river we can only step into once—a representation of the world in perpetual transformation, mirroring the unpredictable journey of life. A Ride On The River contemplates the tension between surrendering to life's rhythm and trusting our own decisions, embracing the paths we follow—from the steady flow of daily existence to unexpected surprises and inevitable repetitions.
