Cave Woman, 2012 |  Single-channel video, 4:24 min, with sound

Cave Woman explores the archetype of the furious woman and its relationship to our understanding of nature. A naked female figure emerges from the still ocean onto a small pebble beach. After scanning her surroundings, she erupts into a primal rage—screaming and hurling rocks in a savage and angered outburst. It is a display of wrath that serves no apparent purpose, yet it demands space and visibility within both nature and culture. By juxtaposing the tranquility of the natural landscape with an eruption of human fury, the video challenges our perception of emotional expression and its place in the world, while offering a space of confrontation between body and environment.
