Gargoyle Room 2016

Double-channel video installation, 27:00 min, with sound
Sound by Nicolas Vetterli

In a dark scenery masked characters in white underwear explore each other curiously bringing it down to the bodily experience of touching, fumbling, breathing, enjoying and playing. The viewer is confronted by sculptural formations and close-ups of body parts appearing in glooming light. The framing dismantles cultural boders of everyday life such as social rank, life situation, and age, while the viewer becomes the intrusive voyeur to a story turning from desire to longing as a human condition and vulnerable bodily experience.

Exhibited at V1 Gallery in Copenhagen and as part of the ARoS-exhibition Art & Porn in 2016.
