Tidevand (Tide) is a meticulously composed cinematic installation covering three rooms and featuring ten large-scale video projections that shift between vast panoramic landscapes and intimate close-ups of objects and faces. The accompanying soundscape blends grand musical compositions with subdued, personal narratives. Together, these elements form a cohesive work that explores how the female body and motherhood are inevitably connected to time—both personal and ancestral—as well as its passage in nature and life. Through an immersive experience guided by rhythm and choreography, Tidevand awakens broader existential inquiries into generational trauma, memory, and our perception of the world while making the viewer aware of their physical presence and their own sense of time.
