Video installation, pilot house, 3:00 min loop, with sound

At the far end of a pier stands a pilot house. In the window a sailor is dancing with a girl. An unschooled voice sings a sea shanty, and one wonders whether they are reunited after a long period of separation or whether it is the final dance before he again puts out to sea. A project made in co-operation with Hartmut Stockter (DK) and Phillip Simmons (US).

Site-specific work for The Gowanus Canal, Brooklyn New York. Also part of the exhibition KURS: HAVNEN, which took place at KØS and Køge Southern Harbour in 2009.
